Work has been progressing more slowly these days, as distractions have been plentiful. I am on the verge of moving my easel out into natural lighting as my work and I seem to be drowning in blue. The cubicle of a studio I work in has no natural light. Color has become even more of an intuitive matter in this setting and my spirit has always gravitated towards the blues. While photographing my work yesterday under natural light, the blueness suddenly seemed to overwhelm and I have been wondering since, whether it is time for a change in palette…?

On a side “piece of distraction” mentioned in an earlier post has a new owner and a title, inspired by the new owner
